Sereda Park OSLAD Public Meeting

The Western Springs Park District invites residents to attend a public meeting to learn about the proposed OSLAD (Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development) grant application and planned improvements for Sereda Park. Staff will provide an overview of the proposed project, answer questions, and gather community feedback before the grant application is submitted.

Springdale Park Under Construction

Springdale Park is currently undergoing major upgrades to its stormwater drainage system to prevent neighborhood flooding.

What’s Temporarily Closed:

  • Athletic fields (softball, soccer, etc.)

  • Picnic pavilions and grove areas

  • On-site restroom facilities

What Remains Open:

  • Tennis courts

  • Pickleball courts

Please be aware that a temporary construction fence surrounds parts of the park. These courts remain accessible, but stay alert for construction zones and equipment, and follow posted signage at all times.
