Laidlaw Park has a new pavilion and playground area (2017) in the northeast section and has a mature grove of trees and and small athletic field. It has a softball/little league field and 20′ backstop. The ball diamond has a grass infield with baselines of baseball mix. There are players’ benches behind the sideline fences. The west section holds the two tennis courts while the far southern section has a mature grove of trees.
