The Park District is an individual taxing entity and is independent of the Village government. The Park District maintains the parks in the Village while the Recreation Department runs the recreation programs under the direction of the Village Board. For more information on the recreation programs, the Recreation Department site would be helpful. The Park Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Board Room of the Village Hall. All residents are welcomed to attend.
